The Role

This role implies full product ownership from client interaction and requirements definition through architecture, development, and production release. The engineer independently makes key technical and product decisions, effectively acting as the technical product owner without PM/BA/QA support.

A key part of the role is direct client communication: discussing and defending solutions, leading technical conversations, and shaping product direction. Development follows an AI-first approach using LLMs and agent-based tools, shifting focus from manual coding to system design and orchestration of AI-accelerated delivery.

What You'll Do

• Own the product end-to-end: from client interaction and requirements gathering through development and production delivery.
• Work directly with clients: identify needs, shape and defend technical solutions, and lead technical and product discussions.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and define implementation approaches.
• Take full ownership of key technical and architectural decisions.
• Validate solutions through prototyping, spikes, and PoC development.
• Develop and maintain core system components (backend and frontend when needed).
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate development and build agent-based workflows.
• Ensure system quality: performance, reliability, security, and production readiness.
• Identify technical risks and constraints and drive improvements.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.

Backend

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS or similar structured backend frameworks.
• Ability to design and build scalable APIs, including REST, WebSockets, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, rate limits, retries, background jobs, queues, and event-driven workflows.
• Understanding of production-grade backend concerns: error handling, logging, monitoring, observability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Frontend

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Experience with Next.js is a plus.
• Ability to build clean, maintainable, user-facing product interfaces.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture, state management, API integration, performance optimization, and component design.

Database

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
• Ability to design schemas, indexes, migrations, and efficient queries.
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS), multi-tenancy, access control, and data isolation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL-based AI capabilities is a plus: vector search, embeddings, semantic search, pgvector, hybrid search, and AI-assisted data workflows.

AI / LLM Engineering

• Practical experience building production features with LLMs.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and related SDKs/APIs.
• Ability to build AI-powered workflows, including:
  
  • RAG pipelines
  • embeddings and vector search
  • prompt engineering
  • tool/function calling
  • structured outputs
  • AI agents
  • multi-step reasoning workflows
  • retrieval, ranking, and re-ranking
  • evaluation and quality checks

• Understanding of reliability, latency, hallucination control, cost optimization, model selection, and fallback strategies.
• Experience connecting LLMs to real-world systems such as databases, APIs, CRMs, internal tools, documents, and business workflows.

AI-Augmented Development Practices

• Strong familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Experience using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI-based coding assistants, or similar.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly for planning, implementation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Familiarity with AI-augmented delivery practices such as:
  
  • SDD / specification-driven development
  • AI-assisted test generation
  • AI-assisted code review
  • prompt-based prototyping
  • agentic coding workflows
  • rapid iteration from requirements to working product
• Ability to validate AI-generated code and maintain high engineering standards.

• Product-oriented full-stack engineer who can take ownership from idea to production.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with incomplete requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
