Who we're looking for?

We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join one of our client projects. You'll be responsible for testing a live product (mobile + web), working closely with the customer and the team as part of the QA function. This role suits someone who can work independently and organize their own tasks within the project.

About the project

• A software solution for parking (mobile + web).
• The customer is based in Sweden.
• Team: 11 developers, 2 QAs, 1 designer, 1 BA, 1 PM + On the client side: CTO and Product Owner.
• Methodology: Scrum
• Working hours: CET.

Responsibilities

• Mobile-app and web-app testing.
• Communicate with a customer and a team, advocating QA side.
• Working together with junior QA engineer in one project.
• Ability to work independently and setting up the tasks for themselves.
• Participate in the full testing life-cycle (requirements testing, functional testing (using exploratory method / based on test-cases), integration testing).
• Adjust test process: develop test strategy, implement testing approaches based on project and team needs.
• Measure the application quality based on test metrics.
• Checking ios/android logs.
• Participation in Agile-based process.
• Working with IoT device to connect to the application and test functionalities.

 Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Understanding of software development concepts and principles.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent writing and speaking abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• English speaking level for expressing themselves and understanding clients - B1 (Intermediate).
