We are looking for a Java Developer!

About the project:

‍Project: This solution is designed to automate the processing of medical insurance claims and bills. Medical providers submit their bills to the system, which then calculates potential payments and generates recommendations for insurance companies regarding payment conditions. The functionality covers both the bill review process and the management of invoicing and payments.

Team Composition:

- Akveo side: 2 backend developers, 1 frontend developer, 2 QA engineers
- Client side: 3 backend developers, 1 DevOps engineer, 1 database specialist.

Project Stack: Java 21, Spring (boot, web), Hibernate, Rabbitmq, AWS, Microservices, MariaDB (SQL), Angular.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, maintainable code — write clean and efficient backend code following coding standards and best development practices.
• Implement new functionality — develop new modules and features, ensuring their seamless integration with the existing system.
• Work on bugs and technical debt — fix issues, optimize existing code, and make small improvements to existing features.
  
• Collaborate closely with the frontend team — work together with frontend developers to ensure consistent functionality, participate in demos, and contribute to feature discussions.

Our requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Understanding of software development best practices and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21, Spring Boot/Web, Hibernate, and Relational Database (must-have).
• Experience with Microservices, MariaDB, RabbitMQ, and AWS is a plus.
• English level B1 (Intermediate) or higher.
