About the company‍:

Akveo is an IT company specializing in web, mobile, low-code, and AI solutions for clients in the USA and Europe. We develop high-quality software products that help businesses automate processes and implement innovations. We are actively expanding into AI-driven solutions, leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance our products and services.

Akveo is a team of 100+ professionals. We have development centers in Poland and Lithuania, and representatives in the US.

We are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the sales team: including sales managers, SDRs/lead generators;
  • Act as a strategic advisor to potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions;
  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting mid-sized and enterprise-level clients across various sectors;
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from lead qualification to contract signing;
  • Provide input on new markets, service offerings, and client segmentation.

Marketing Oversight

  • Guide the marketing team in planning and executing performance-based campaigns, including:
    • SEO 
    • PPC (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
    • Email marketing
    • Content marketing and inbound lead generation
    • CRM and marketing automation (we use Hubspot)
  • Align marketing efforts with sales objectives to generate qualified leads and support the full sales funnel.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing ROI and campaign performance.

Strategic Leadership

  • Shape and refine the company’s value proposition and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the CEO, Head of Production, and delivery leads to ensure client expectations align with capabilities.

Requirements: 

  • Proven track record in B2B IT sales - especially in consulting, custom software development;
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in sales and/or marketing roles, preferably in an IT services or tech company;
  • Hands-on experience closing high-value deals with medium to large enterprise clients;
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing practices, including SEO, content marketing, and performance analytics;
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc;
  • Strategic thinker;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment;
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
