The client needed a production-ready mobile application built from the ground up within a very tight timeline. The app had to integrate with Sploot's existing backend systems, provide a smooth and intuitive experience for pet parents, and include automated medication reminders that would work reliably on both iOS and Android.

Editable medication records

Custom Vet Consultation Features

Embedded chat with vets via WebView
Centralized access to medical documents

Health Reminder Engine

A scheduled background job (7 AM daily, Denver time) triggers notifications based on next_reminder_date, calculated automatically from the last_given_date and frequency.
Custom UI for adding, editing, or deleting reminders, each with their own detail cards.
Push notifications and in-app banners to prompt users to take action.
