Our client has an internal system written in .NET that they are using today. It functions well for the existing needs, though the company aims at being able to modernize, better scale and adapt as the business changes (for example, including reporting features for enhancing user experience and decreasing the amount of manual work).Currently, there isn’t any external user interface that the participants could use to manage their insurance coverages. Keeping in mind how old it is, they realize we'll probably have to rewrite the backend as well.
Platform is a solution that allows employees and participants to create and manage the insurance services. Unlike the current internal system, the new solution will be available to the participants as well, which will decrease the amount of manual work for employees and increase participants’ satisfaction as they will be able to manage their coverages independently in a modern and user friendly way.
